Responsibilities:

• Translate requirements into high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to company coding standards and guidelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend developers, product managers, etc.) to integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.
• Work with security teams to implement security fixes.
• Work with data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Engage in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in backend development, specifically with GoLang.
• Strong understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Experience with relational database technologies such as SQLite or Postgres and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their application in backend development.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools for deploying applications.
• Contributions to open source projects or a strong portfolio of your own projects.
