Who We Are

Sprints is a rapidly scaling athletic gear brand with a mission to make funner gear for athletes. Ranging from headwear to apparel and accessories, Sprints has become known for its iconic patterns, bold colorways and deep belief that performance and style are equally important for today's athlete.

The Role

As our Senior Inventory Planner, you'll make sure the right product is in the right place at the right time. You'll own our demand forecast, recommend what we buy and when, plan inventory across our channels, and work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations on every launch and season.

What You'll Own

  • Demand Forecasting: Building and maintaining 13-week and 52-week forecasts by SKU and channel, accounting for seasonality, promotions, launches and retailer demand, and tracking accuracy over time
  • Purchasing and Replenishment: Recommending order quantities and timing each week based on lead times, MOQs, safety stock and open POs
  • Inventory Health: Setting inventory targets by SKU priority and velocity, keeping our top sellers in stock, and monitoring excess, aging and slow-moving product
  • Channel Allocation: Planning inventory across DTC, wholesale, Amazon, TikTok Shop and international, and setting priorities when supply is tight
  • Launch and Seasonal Planning: Building initial buys for new collections and seasonal moments with Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations, and getting plans approved before purchasing cutoffs
  • Launch Post-Mortems: Reviewing sell-through after each collection launch and bringing those learnings into future buys
  • Markdowns and Transfers: Recommending transfers, promotions or markdowns when product is moving slower than planned
  • Supply Visibility: Tracking open POs, production, transit and receipts, and updating the plan when there are delays, shortages or quality issues
  • Reporting and Weekly Planning: Building and maintaining our inventory reporting and dashboard, and leading our weekly inventory planning meeting

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 4 to 7 years in inventory, demand or supply planning, ideally at a growth-stage consumer brand
  • Multi-Channel Planning: Experience planning across DTC, wholesale and marketplaces like Amazon
  • Forecasting: Experience building forecasts from the ground up and a clear understanding of the assumptions behind them
  • Financial Thinking: Comfortable with open-to-buy, inventory turns and cash planning
  • Tools: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets and experience building reports and dashboards. Experience with planning or inventory software is a plus
  • Collaboration: Enjoys working across teams and comfortable sharing updates and recommendations with Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations
  • Industry: Experience in apparel, footwear or accessories, and real interest in the sports, running, or active lifestyle space

Who Thrives Here

You like being close to both the product and the numbers. You're organized, curious about why things sell the way they do, and excited to roll up your sleeves at a growing brand where your work shows up in every launch. You enjoy working with people across the business and like helping build how things get done. Ambition is welcomed here, and so is having fun while you do it.
