About YouYou are a software QA engineer, looking to help set up a team, create plans and ideas, and be innovative in what you build and how you build it. You are comfortable in creating plans, working with other members of the team to share these ideas, and implementing them.Your dayMost days for the QA lead will start out with a developer team startup meeting. We run 2-week sprints, and most of your day will be spent focusing on developing testing plans and systems for our API’s, SDKs, and portals. You will work closely with our product lead to create testing systems and controls and will bring ideas to create these systems. Your goal is to increase our development team efficiency and find bugs and issues before code deployment.Your skills
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and standards for software testing and quality assurance.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
  • The capability to rigorously test web applications across a range of browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • Experience in managing testing efforts within project timelines.
  • Ability to prioritize testing activities based on project requirements and risks.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Experience with Git and/or programming languages such as Python, Javascript, Typescript is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using automated testing tools is a plus.
