About Pantomath

Pantomath is a data pipeline observability and traceability platform for automating data operations and improving data reliability through automated real-time monitoring and cross-platform pipeline lineage.

The company was founded by Somesh Saxena in 2022, formerly serving as the Head of Data & Analytics at GE Aerospace. Pantomath’s customers include several F500s and large enterprises that aspired to be data-driven but struggled with bad data. Pantomath has enabled its customers to drive data reliability and trust in data across the organization through its first of its kind data pipeline observability and traceability platform.

Your Role

The Product Designer is a crucial role in shaping the overall design and user experience of Pantomath. Reporting to the Director of Product, this position is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing startup and create intuitive and impactful user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the product manager and engineering team, to design user-centric and visually appealing features for Pantomath.

• Drive the end-to-end design process, from ideation and concept development to wireframing, prototyping, and final visual designs

• Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and UI patterns to ensure consistency and cohesiveness across the product

• Create interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and confirm ideas with stakeholders and users

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve the user experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio highlighting design skills and projects

• Proficiency in design and user research tools such as Figma & Maze

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and software products

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, effectively translating user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions.

• Effective communication skills to present and articulate design concepts to cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS) is a plus

• Embrace Agile principles and Scrum
