The Sr. Solutions Engineer is a strategic partner to the Sales and Product teams, responsible for leading technical conversations and designing complex, enterprise-grade solutions. This role guides the solution architecture for key accounts, supports executive-level engagements, and contributes to shaping internal processes and best practices within the Solutions Engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical engagements with enterprise customers, including product demonstrations, architecture reviews, and implementation planning.

  • Build deep relationships with C-level stakeholders to understand and influence technical and business decision-making.

  • Partner ongoing with the Account Executive to strategize on how to win new logos and expand current customers.

  • Design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions that integrate the Pantomath platform with customer data ecosystems.

  • Effectively and efficiently respond to RFPs, technical questions, and security evaluations as part of the sales process.

  • Own the technical demo environment and maintain accuracy of mock deployments across customer examples.

  • Serve as a mentor to other Solutions Engineers and help scale the function.

  • Provide continuous feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on market trends and customer needs.

  • Coordinate with Customer Experience team on current customers to ensure ongoing success and repeatability of customer wins.

  • Assist with security reviews, technical documentation, and custom POCs.

  • Represent Pantomath at industry events and conferences as a technical subject matter expert.

  • Help drive content with marketing as a thought leader with whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, live demos, etc as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree a plus.

  • 6–10 years in enterprise software pre-sales, solutions architecture, or field engineering.

  • Prior experience supporting multi-million-dollar SaaS deals with Fortune 500 or global enterprise clients.

Skills and Competencies

  • Advanced understanding of modern data infrastructure (ingestion, ETL, data lake, cloud warehousing, business intelligence, data observability, orchestration, etc.).

  • Proven success leading enterprise solution design and navigating complex sales cycles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.

  • Engaging persona with challenger mentality that ensures all contacts in a discussion are heard and engaged.

  • Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, APIs, data cataloging, and pipeline lineage tools.

  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and ambiguous technical challenges.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

This role is primarily performed in an office or remote work setting and requires the ability to:

  • Sit for extended periods while working on a computer.

  • Occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or bend during the course of work.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively via video conferencing, phone, and email.

  • Occasionally lift and move items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office equipment, packages, marketing materials).

  • Travel up to 40%, including air and ground transportation and overnight stays, if required.
