InfoTrust is a dynamic and growing organization seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary contract basis (approximately 2-3 months). This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall goals of our Finance team by focusing on the completion of several projects including reformatting reconciliations, updating the Customer Prepayment Schedule, as well as documenting other policies and procedures as needed.

This role will require either hybrid or in office work with the ability to be onsite on Wednesdays at a minimum at our office in Blue Ash, OH.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply accounting rules and procedures, including General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), in recording monthly financial statements and as requested on an ad hoc basis.
  • Document and update documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support the maintenance of financial statements by legal entity, reconciling intercompany balances, and preparing transfer pricing invoices and entries as required.
  • Modify and automate Balance Sheet reconciliations, documenting the process of completing such.
  • Automate monthly financial reports, including department statements, cash flow, and other subsidiary reports.
  • Prepare financial analysis on an ad hoc basis, communicating findings to management and/or the finance team.
  • Manage and/or assist finance management in automation projects, reporting projects, and/or system implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2+ years of Public Accounting Experience (preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong financial reporting skills.
  • Strong Knowledge of QBO, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience implementing ERP and/or BI reporting (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to effectively communicate with management and operations regarding financial issues.
  • Experience managing ad hoc projects, identifying resources required, and completing tasks within deadlines.
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of records.
  • Self-driven, must be able to work independently.
