Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an entrepreneurial title agent with tremendous career growth potential. Establish and lead a new title company - a joint venture with Homeshake, a real estate technology company named as a Startup to Watch in 2021 and winner of the 2022 Fire Award for innovation in real estate. The team at Homeshake is creating a simpler and friendlier way to buy and sell homes. Homeshake’s technology gives customers the tools and support they need to deal directly with one another, without an agent. You would work with the leadership at Homeshake.

You must have experience taking a residential transaction from start to finish. Initially, you will be the sole employee of the new title company. As transaction volume increases, you will build and manage a growing team.

You may bring existing title business and referral relationships, which will initially result in increased bonus compensation. Over time, as priorities shift, bonuses may be tied to different performance targets.

You should have experience running a title company, including compliance, accounting, and maintaining underwriter relationships. This experience is preferred, but not required. Initially, back office support in these areas will be provided by a third-party service provider.

You must be willing to embrace new technologies and challenge the status quo. You will help Homeshake implement new title and closing processes and technologies into Homeshake’s proprietary platform.

Compensation: Up to $80,000 in salary with bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, life, and 401k).

Qualifications: Licensed title agent in Ohio and Kentucky. Licensed attorney in Ohio and Kentucky, preferred but not required.

Personality: Self-starter, ability to do or delegate as required, organized, focused on superior customer service, good communicator, open-minded, likes working on a team.
