We are hiring on behalf of a confidential, well‑established organization in the industrial, construction, and heavy‑rigging sector. This role is ideal for individuals who want to grow into Project Management by working directly alongside experienced PMs and field crews on complex, real‑world industrial projects. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, maintenance, mechanical trades, rigging, or other light‑industrial environments will be especially successful.
You will gain hands‑on exposure to project planning, field operations, equipment coordination, and client communication while supporting the safe and efficient execution of industrial projects.
Role Summary
This position is a field‑connected, operations‑driven position supporting heavy‑rigging, equipment moves, plant relocations, and industrial construction activities. You will split time between the office and active job sites.
Strong performers can expect to move into full Project Manager responsibilities within 12–24 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in planning and executing industrial, construction, and heavy‑rigging projects
- Assist with bid reviews, takeoffs, proposals, and pre‑construction planning
- Help develop project schedules, manpower plans, and equipment needs
- Track project costs, budgets, and job progress
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, equipment operators, and vendors
- Participate in client communication and project updates
- Conduct regular site visits and support field operations, safety checks, and logistics
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and documentation
- Contribute to post‑project reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in construction, industrial services, rigging, maintenance, or related hands‑on environments
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Basic understanding of construction budgeting, cost tracking, or forecasting
- Ability to communicate effectively with field teams, tradespeople, and clients
- Willingness to work on‑site and in active industrial environments
- Familiarity with project management tools and scheduling systems (training provided)
