We are hiring a VP Finance for a growing international industrial company headquartered in West Chester, Ohio.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a finance executive who wants to play a meaningful role in helping scale and strengthen a globally operating business. The company is entering its next stage of growth and is looking for a hands-on finance leader who can partner closely with executive leadership while also building the financial structure, visibility, and operational discipline needed for long-term expansion.
The role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable leading high-level financial strategy and diving into day-to-day operational finance. This is not a narrow accounting-only position. The selected candidate will help guide business decisions, improve reporting and forecasting capabilities, strengthen financial controls, support international operations, and build scalable systems and processes across the organization.
The company operates across multiple entities and currencies and is seeking someone who can bring strong financial leadership, operational rigor, and a builder mentality to the finance function.
What You’ll Do• Lead and oversee accounting operations including AP/AR, billing, payroll, reconciliations, and financial close processes
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness
• Consolidate reporting across multiple company entities and international operations
• Build executive dashboards, KPIs, forecasting models, and performance reporting tools
• Partner directly with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and operational decision-making
• Oversee cash flow management, treasury functions, banking relationships, and liquidity planning
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, audit readiness, and compliance processes
• Provide financial insights around profitability, margins, operational efficiency, and growth initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, reporting accuracy, and finance processes
• Help evaluate, implement, or optimize ERP and financial systems infrastructure
• Lead and mentor members of the accounting and finance team while helping scale the broader finance organization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and international teams to support company growth
What We’re Looking For• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational finance
• Experience managing or supporting multi-entity and/or international financial operations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with non-financial stakeholders and leadership teams
• Experience with ERP systems and financial process improvement initiatives
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment
Preferred Experience• Industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or equipment-related industries
• International operations and multi-currency environments
• ERP implementation or migration experience
• US GAAP reporting
• M&A, post-merger integration, or private equity exposure
