Position Summary
The Sales Support Engineer bridges the gap between sales, product, and operations to ensure a seamless pre- and post-sale experience for our customers. This is a hands-on, cross-functional, technical role ideal for someone with both a supply chain background and a strong understanding of SaaS or logistics platforms.
You'll be responsible for coordinating prospect needs, building pricing quotes, managing RFPs, coordinating new customer launches, aligning integration needs with development, and ensuring our product solutions match the unique needs of each account. You will proactively surface blockers, solve problems, and drive alignment between teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and deliver accurate pricing quotes and rate sheets in collaboration with the sales director for prospective and onboarding accounts
• Manage responses to customer RFPs and RFIs, coordinating input from cross-functional stakeholders
• Serve as the main point of contact for new customer onboarding and launch processes
• Coordinate account-specific product needs and enhancements with development and product teams
• Lead technical integration setup and troubleshooting in coordination with customers and internal engineers
• Track and manage launch milestones, proactively resolving issues that affect timelines or deliverables
• Support the sales team with tools, documentation, and reporting needed to close and ramp accounts
• Bring a problem-solving mindset to customer-specific challenges and internal process bottlenecks
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or transportation SaaS environment
• Proven experience interfacing with product and engineering teams in a customer-facing role
• Familiarity with rate modeling, quoting, and RFP processes
• Strong understanding of API integrations, system workflows, or product operations
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills
• Highly organized with a bias for action and ownership
• Comfortable working across multiple teams in a fast-paced, startup environment
