QUALIFICATIONS |

Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in accounting
|
Preferred: - Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Experience with people management
- Earned or actively seeking CPA
|

RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files. Reconciling Accounts, balance sheet and Profit and Loss Statements entries
- Assist with month-end close and year-end audit
- Meet processing and reporting deadlines
- Develop and monitor budget information for the Accounting / Finance Department; track expenditures and variances and take corrective measures as needed
- Prepare documentation for external and internal audits, including ad hoc inquiries from various reporting agencies
- Manage Accounts Receivable Invoices and Cash Application, ensuring activities align to customer contracts for deliverables, forecasting, terms, timing, and pricing
- Support revenue recognition activities and alignment to accounts receivable
- Manage and oversee daily cash and bank account management activities, including but not limited to cash positioning, forecasting, and investments.
- Accurately record and apply all cash transactions in the accounting system
- Oversee and manage the payroll function and 401k plans, ensuring compliance with monthly and annual reporting requirements
- Support benefit plans with HR, including the processing/recording as well as financial analysis and implementation of each plan
- Manage and oversee staff accounting position(s), including training, review of all work product, and performance evaluation
