About the Role
Abre is seeking a strategic and results-driven Solutions Architect to ensure new school districts are successfully onboarded onto our platform. This role is pivotal in aligning SIS data, rostering, and initial configuration, while serving as the primary point of contact for district teams and collaborating closely with internal technical resources.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who can balance guiding districts through technical implementation with creating a seamless client experience. They are detail-oriented, a flexible problem solver, and passionate about translating complex data into actionable insights for educators and administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients through onboarding milestones, from kickoff to go-live.
- Map and validate SIS data fields, including rosters, demographics, attendance, and behavior.
- Coordinate SIS data exports and imports with district IT teams.
- Understand APIs and flat file data acquisition, and guide districts and internal teams accordingly.
- Coordinate the progression of data into production with Data Engineering.
- Document onboarding notes, SOPs, and client preferences.
- Consult on writing SOWs and scope documents.
- Assist with broader onboarding and data-handling strategy.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of at least one SIS platform (e.g., PowerSchool, Infinite Campus).
- Experience with rostering tools (Clever, Classlink, Schoolday).
- Experience with API connections and tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
- Strong communication, writing, and customer service skills.
- Basic familiarity with attendance and behavior reporting.
- Comfortable working with IT teams and educators.
- Flexible problem solver with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multiple SIS platforms or other key district data sources (ERP, LMS, etc.).
- Intermediate to strong SQL skills.
- Exposure to scripting languages or structured programming.
- District power user or previous edtech Solutions Architect/Data Analyst experience.
