Abre is seeking experienced Data Engineers to join our growing team. Data Engineers at Abre design and build systems that move and shape school data. Because data is so central to the Abre products, data engineers play a critical role on our product team. This role in particular will be vital in defining data engineering at Abre moving forward. Data Engineers take responsibility for the stability of the data pipelines they build as well as the timeliness, quality monitoring, and organization of data within those pipelines. They are always seeking ways to make data easier to use and our data pipelines more efficient.

Our Mission

Open learning communities by connecting what matters. Through consolidated solutions and meaningful connections, we ignite the aha moments that open the future for the whole child and the community.

Who We Are

Abre grew from a need. As classrooms filled with Chromebooks and students had more access to edtech, our founders noticed the software solutions used in their classrooms were messy. They faced countless logins, siloed data, and increasing confusion among different users. What was missing was simplicity and unification. So they created it.

Abre is quite literally made by educators. Our founders have years of experience in teaching and administrative leadership in K-12 education. We believe education is critical for the health of our society and have a genuine passion for helping educators.

Abre started in a single public school district, but soon neighboring schools noticed Abre’s impact. They viewed Abre solving challenges and wanted to implement Abre in their own district. Today we’re in hundreds of schools serving hundreds of thousands of students.
