Overview

Abre.io is seeking a fully remote QA Engineer for an exciting opportunity to join our team based out of Cincinnati, OH. The responsibilities of this position include developing expert product knowledge, executing test steps as laid out by engineering, and building internal QA documentation to speed up the life cycle on testing new and existing features. The ideal candidate can work independently while collaborating with engineering and data teams to establish proper testing steps.

Specific Responsibilities

• Provide the last line of defense on new features, bug fixes, and refactored code before it ships to production
• Work with engineering and data teams to develop and ensure proper testing steps (including regression testing steps) that can be executed to verify software is working as expected
• Document testing steps and contribute to building a repository of testing documentation to speed up future QA processes

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience doing QA at a SaaS (Software-As-A-Service) company
• Demonstrated professional experience building documentation for QA processes
• Meticulous eye for detail and thorough
• Strong SQL fundamentals and ability to write queries against a database to validate and check behavior through the software UI
• Desire to master product knowledge and grow with the company
• Bonus: Any previous leadership/management experience
